Biography

Meridian Ren Eck is a photojournalist dedicated to documenting civil unrest and social movements in Chicago. Originally from a small town in Kentucky, Meridian moved to the city in 2020 and earned her BA in Film and Television from Columbia College in 2024. While she currenly serves as a camera technician for PRG Chicago, Meridian is a frequent contributor to GrayStak Media, where she leverages her technical expertise to produce high-stakes, artistic journalism. Meridian is currently available for freelance photojournalism and technical camera work.
